West Texas A & M Collecting School Supplies

The West Texas and M University are trying to get a jump on getting supplies for school students.

Members of the WT Black Student Union are hosting a backpack drive and are asking for donations in the form of school supplies, to fill 100 backpacks including pens, pencils, paper, notecards, binders sticky notes and more.

The BSU Secretary believes by providing these supplies, they’re supporting academic success.

This is the first year they have held the donation drive and they are primarily targeting university departments and the community.

The donation drive is collecting through July 31st and you can email your contribution to wtamubsu@gmail dot com
