The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has taken more drugs off the street.
A Trooper stopped a 2023 Nissan Altima traveling east on I-40 near Vega at 9:50 a.m. Sunday morning for a traffic violation.
That is when multiple vacuum-sealed bundles of methamphetamine and one plastic-wrapped bundle of cocaine were found inside a cardboard box in the trunk of the car.
The driver and passenger, 41-year-old Dontae Revels and 40-year-old Latoyia Shelton of Tulsa Oklahoma, were arrested and booked into the Oldham County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance.
The drugs were reportedly being transported from Los Angeles, California to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
