TTU Nursing Professor Recognized For Advancing Nursing Education

Richard Pullen Ed.D from Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center will be receiving the Mary Adelaide Nutting Award for Outstanding Teaching or Leadership in Nursing Education. 

This award comes from the National League for Nursing and is given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding teaching and leadership in nursing education, encourage creative interactions with students, mentor students and faculty, and publish work to advance nursing education. 

Dr. Pullen will receive the award at the 2022 NLN Education Summit in September. 

He has also been honored as an American Academy of Nursing Fellows, the Academy of Nursing Education, and has been named a Piper Professor of Texas.
