The Salvation Army is Looking for Volunteers

Despite December being a few months away, it’s never too early to show support for the less fortunate.

The salvation army is always there for families that need it, and they have started searching for volunteers to help for the upcoming season.

Their red kettles have been a symbol for the salvation army and goodwill for over 100 years.

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bell ringers this season to collect donations that can fund their activities throughout the year.

To volunteer your time, you can visit here and fill out the time and location you would like to ring.

Individuals, families, friends, or groups are welcome, and time can be split amongst multiple people.

Volunteers will also be given PPE kits to ensure safety while still in the midst of the pandemic.

There are other opportunities coming up as well, such as Angel Tree and serving meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

To further engage with the Salvation Army and to give back, you can visit their website.
