Howard Smith Lecture at TPWM About Time In Navy

On December 3rd, the Texas Panhandle War Memorial is hosting a lecture featuring Howard Smith.
Starting at 1:30 pm, Howard will discuss his time on the USS Guadalcanal, as well as the recovery of Apollo 9.
Smith is an Amarillo High School and Baylor University Graduate, receiving his degree in math and physics, and his masters in Business Administration.
He joined the Navy after college and attended the U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School and Supply School.
He served in critical positions aboard the USS Guadalcanal.
The lecture is free to attend, and snacks will be provided.
