Hispanic Heritage Month Coming To AC

The Hispanic Student Association at Amarillo College is bringing three events to the campus. 

Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the achievements of Hispanic Americans who continue to inspire others to achieve success and is set from September 15th to October 15th. 

The festivities begin with “La Cultura Hispana Es Familia” or Family Fun Night from 6 to 8 pm Friday, September 23rd on the Oeschger Family Mall and around the Clock Tower.

It’s free and open to the public and will feature Mariachi music and Folklórico dancers, crafts, a photo booth, and more.

“Food Truck Frenzy” follows on the 28th with a variety of food trucks coming to the AC campus from 11:30 to 1:30, with a portion of all sales going to the HSA. 

The last event will be “Loteria” – Mexican Bingo at 11:45 on October 6th free for AC students with many prizes available.
