Chapel on WT’s Campus Receiving Gift for Renovation

West Texas A&M University receives a gift of $1.5 Million to renovate one of the oldest landmarks on campus.

The Joseph A. Hill Memorial chapel, named after the 2nd president of WT, will undergo interior and exterior work starting the summer of 2023.

The plans include new exterior doors, LED lighting, sidewalk repair, a new floor, and extensive landscaping, and bring the facility to current ADA Standards.

Dr. Walter Wendler, President of WT, understands the value of growth in all aspects of the university setting.

This gift is thanks to the High Plains Christian Ministries Foundation, who was glad to gift the college these needed improvements.
