1 Dead After Crashing Into Bicyclist On Sharman Loop

An Amarillo man is dead after a motorcycle accident.
79-year-old Ronald Archer, who was on a Honda Goldwing Motorcycle, traveling east and going uphill on Patrick Pass when he failed to yield right of way to oncoming traffic.
Archer made a left turn onto Sharman Loop into oncoming traffic and crashed into 68-year-old Harold Brigance who was on a bicycle.
Archer succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the crash late Monday night.
Brigance suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
