West Texas A&M University is getting ready for the upcoming graduation commencement, and a traditional ceremony is being held the day prior.

December 9th at 6 pm, over 50 students will take part in the Donning of the Stoles ceremony, an honored tradition for African American, Native American, Hispanic, and international students.

Stoles are worn by the graduating students to display pride in their heritage and culture.

It is a heartfelt moment between the graduates and their families and friends to share together.
