Wheeler County Traffic Stop Nets $5 Million In Meth

A traffic stop on I-40 in Wheeler County nets $5 million worth of methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Sergio Jesus Palazuelos was pulled over for speeding. As the officer approached the suspect’s car, he could smell the odor of burnt marijuana, A probable cause search lead the the discovery of two boxes, each containing multiple baggies of what was later determined to be meth,

Palazuelos told officers he was on his way to Oklahoma City with the drugs. He was charged with possession with the intent to distribute meth.
