Phone Scam Warning Reminder

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office reports that citizens are still falling victim to ‘outstanding warrant’ scammers.

If you receive a call from someone purporting to be with the Potter or Randall County Sheriff’s Offices or the Amarillo Police Department, hang up and contact authorities. Do not call the number they provide.

Remember, neither of these offices will call you, ask for money or take credit cards, bitcoin, green dot, money orders or any other form of payment.
