Over $14 Million For APD Upgrades On Today’s Agenda

According to the provided agenda for today’s City Council meeting, zoning ordinances and land purchases are prominent items along with contracts and agreements with service providers such as a $1.7 million dollar, 5-year agreement with Tickets.com for the ticketing system used by the Civic Center Box office. 

Well over $14 million dollars will be awarded to Axon Enterprise, Inc and others for personal protection equipment, body and car cameras, interview room recording, digital evidence and records management. 

Continued equipment purchases to keep the troubled waste water management systems afloat and a revised agreement with Randall County concerning the recent back-and-forth between the county and the city over Amarillo’s use of the Randall County jail also on today’s agenda.
