Ogallala Commons to Sponsor Tulia’s Playa Field Day

The Tulia Playa Field Day will take place on Tuesday, April 19th starting at 9 am in the Swisher County Annex Meeting Room located at 310 West Broadway Avenue. 

Presented by the Ogallala Commons, High Plains Underground Water Conservation District No.1 and the Dixon Water Foundation, the workshop will consist of an overview of the Texas Playa Conservation Initiative as well as the Pastures for Upland Birds program, general information regarding the playa ecosystems and restoration, and much more.

Open to farmers, ranchers, agency personnel, educators, and the interested public, registration is $15 a person, with lunch, drinks, and snacks provided.
