New TABC, Hygiene Licensing Fees Now In Effect

A reminder from the City of Amarillo regarding alcoholic beverage and food hygiene licenses.

Effective today, September 1, businesses operating with a food hygiene license issued by the Environmental Health Department office of Amarillo, will no longer need to pay the city portion of their TABC permit/license.

Conversely, businesses that hold a TABC license but do not have a COA Environmental Health Department food hygiene license will still be required to submit that portion of their TABC license/permit to the City of Amarillo accounting department.

New TABC pre-qualification packages can be delivered to the COA city secretary’s office at City Hall, 601 South Buchanan.
