Hemphill County Beef Conference to Take Place Next Month

The Hemphill County Texas A&M AgriLife Beef Conference will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, and Wednesday, April 26th inside the Jones Pavilion in Canadian.

This year’s theme is  “It’s All About the Numbers,” with a multitude of issues that will be discussed from input cost to how farmers have gone through the droughts around the area, to name a few.

The conference will offer 12 sessions on everything from cattle markets to weather conditions to the future of the cattle business, as well as 85 trade show vendors and three beef meals.

From various professors from West Texas A&M University to local farmers and researchers, multiple speakers will be in attendance for this conference. But along with those names, this year’s keynote speaker is businessman, outdoorsman, and star of Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson.

Tickets are available at $150 per person but only $125 if you are attending with a spouse.
