Chalk it Up Art Contest is Back at Amarillo College

Amarillo College will be returning their highly anticipated summer event, Chalk It Up.

Free registration is now open for the sidewalk art contest, for individuals or teams of four people, with the first forty entries being accepted. 

Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners as well as the fan-favorite entry, sharing a $900 cash prize. 

There will also be an amateur area where observers of the event can bring their families out and even have kids contribute to a color-by-number art piece. 

The contest will be from 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday, July 30th at the Oeschger Family Mall located at AC’s Washington Street campus, with local food trucks set to be out there for food and drinks as well.
