Amarillo Police Searching for Suspect After Assaulting Elderly Man

Amarillo police are on the lookout for a suspect who assaulted a man yesterday.
Police were called to Amarillo Boulevard and Wilson Street at 6:32 p.m. on Thursday, where a 79-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown suspect.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
