100 Club of the Texas Panhandle Gifts Area Fire Departments

The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle has donated an estimated $60 thousand dollars to 4 area fire departments in the wake of the disastrous wildfires that have plagued – and continue to impact the Texas Panhandle in recent weeks.

Beneficiaries include the Canadian Volunteer Fire Department, Lefors Fire Department, White Deer Volunteer Fire Department, and Skellytown Fire Department.

According to the group’s Facebook Page, these volunteer fire departments have very limited resources and many of them have blown engines, burned out clutches, had their wiring and lights melted off their trucks, their tires are burned up, not to mention the wear and tear on them and their protective gear.

Grant funding and donations make what the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle does possible. If you would like help, visit their website at texaspanhandle100club,org/donate, or call Executive Director Suzanne Talley at 806-331-4100.
