Vietnam Veteran Presenting on Saturday

A Veteran Speaker will be coming to the Texas Panhandle War Memorial Center on August 6th. 

Starting at 1:30 pm, Vietnam veteran Paul Harpole will be speaking of his experiences in the war.

He served from 1969 to 1971 as the Flight Chief of an unarmed medical helicopter, flying over 475 combat missions.

He was awarded the Army Commendation medal, and 19 air medals, one of which was awarded a V for valor. 

Admission for the event is $5 for adults, $2 for children and students, and free for veterans.
