Two WT Students Honored for Their Work On-Campus

West Texas A&M recently celebrated two student workers who set themselves apart from their peers.

Raymond “Tommy” King and Jessa Beaty were named Student Graduate and Undergraduate Employees of the year respectively.

King was a graduate assistant in Advising Services and provided critical help in equity and inclusion to those that needed it most.

Beaty worked as a peer leader the last two years before being named orientation consultant.

Portraits of the winners will be displayed in WT’s Gallery of Excellence in the Cornette Library,  the first students to receive the honor.
