Two Arrested After Reports Of Multiple Auto Burglaries

The Randall County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men after reports of multiple auto burglaries.

The RCSO SWAT Team along with the Criminal Investigation Division arrived at a home at 4214 Garland to serve a search warrant on August 13th.

During the search of the residence one of the bedroom doors had a shotgun booby trap set up that went off when the door was opened, missing 2 SWAT officers by inches.

24-year-old Brenton Tucker and 21-year-old Xylon Martin were arrested at the scene.

Tucker was arrested for Fraudulent Use and Possession of Identifying Information, 50 or more items, Aggravated Assault, Theft of Firearms, and Resisting Arrest.

Martin was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention, Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon and Theft of Firearms.
