Gas prices in the state of Texas are down 4 cents this week to $1.93 a gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
Amarillo is seeing a 5 cent decrease this week to $1.80 a gallon which is 44 cents less than this time last year.

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Texas, drivers in Midland are paying the most on average at $2.49 while drivers in Amarillo and Sherman/Denison are paying the least at $1.80 per gallon.
