Stewarding Our Aquifer Field Day Set for This Thursday

Ogallala Commons will host its latest in a Spring through Fall series of the playa and aquifer-associated field days with a special Stewarding Our Aquifer Field Day on Thursday, May 18, from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Pep, Texas, located in Hockley County.

Certain activities during the event will include discussions on grassland and saline playas, the proposed Land Protection Plan for Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge, and Grassland Bird Surveys to name a few. 

Registration will be $20 per person, with lunch and snacks included.
