School Closures and Delays for Tuesday, January 9th

With the recent winter weather system coming through the panhandle, here is the list of school districts that will be closed or have a delay for Tuesday classes. 

Channing ISD will be closed on Tuesday, while Dalhart, Friona, Dimmitt, and Follett ISD will start at 10 am. Dalhart’s bus route will run on pavement only, while Dimmitt will not have a morning bus route. 

Grandview-Hopkins, Groom, Hereford, Sanford-Fritch, St. Anthony Catholic School, Plemons-Stinnett-Phillips, Sunray, Stratford, Texhoma, and White Deer ISD will all have two-hour delays as well. 

Gruver ISD will start at the regular time but will close at 12:30 pm, Turpin Schools will participate in virtual learning, meanwhile, Texline ISD will be closed.
