Pride Of The Plains Second Edition
The complete second edition of Pride of the Plains is fresh off the press, and can be purchased at the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame!
The Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10th in the Grand Plaza of the Amarillo Civic Center.
The second edition Pride of the Plains includes two page profiles, as well as photos, of every hall of fame member from 1959 to 2019.
This will also have Sunday’s inductees, and an updated list of Athletes of the Year, Coaches of the Year, and winners of special awards from 1959 to 2019.
Pride of the Plains 2nd ed. will cost $15 at the induction. It can be purchased from the Kids Inc. building after Sunday.
The 460-page book was written by Dave Wohlfarth and other area sports writers and was edited by Mike Haynes.
