Price’s Bills Pass the House

The Texas House of Representatives passed House Bills 18, 19, and 1070 which was filed by Representative Four Price.
The bills address the needs of students with mental health conditions and will provide resources for educators, including mental health awareness training.
Overwhelming support for the bills was received in the house with the votes as follows.
HB 18 was passed with a vote of 129 to 14.
HB 19 passed by a vote of 127 to 19, and HB 1070 received a passing vote of 139 to 8.
The bills will now proceed to the Senate for further consideration.
