It will be the coaching debut for new Brooklyn coach Steve Nash. In the nightcap, the Los Angeles Lakers will raise a 17th banner at the Staples Center as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Rockets will host the Thunder at the Toyota Center tomorrow night in their season opener. Houston went 3-and-1 on the preseason after sweeping the Spurs. The Rockets will look to build on a 44-and-28 season that got them to the conference semifinals.

The Mavericks will open the regular season tomorrow night in Phoenix against the Suns. Dallas went 2-and-1 on the preseason after falling to the Timberwolves in overtime last week. The Mavs ended last season at 43-and-32 and were eliminated in the first round of playoffs.
