Murder Suspect Arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with the July 2020 murder of Barry Ray Hamphill.

Twenty-nine year old, Darius Qumaine Allen has been found by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force in Houston,

and booked into the Harris County Jail.

He’s being held on two warrants out of Potter County for Murder and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.

Hemphill was killed in the 100-block of South Tennessee Street with a gunshot wound to his upper body
