May The 4th Be With You Celebrating Star Wars Events In Amarillo
As May fourth approaches this Saturday, Star Wars fans across the area can find a few ways to celebrate that is not only fun for kids, but fun for families and all fans alike.
The 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Dark Empire and Mandalorian Mercs will be in Amarillo on Saturday at different events throughout the day.
These four clubs are charity organizations that operate worldwide, making appearances at children’s hospitals and other events.
Members dress as screen accurate characters from the Star Wars Franchise.
This weekend you will be able to see Darth Vader, Storm troopers, and perhaps a Jedi and Sith.
The Don Harrington Discovery Center will host the first event with the Star Wars characters from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Then they will be at Hodge Town for the Sod Poodles Star Wars Night from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
