Governor Greg Abbott Issues Executive Order For Face Masks And Social Gathers

Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order Thursday afternoon that requires all Texans wear a face beginning Friday, July 3rd at noon.
The order says everyone in Texas counties with more than 20 positive Covid-19 cases must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth when in public places and outside.
The order states that after the first verbal or written warning for a first-time violator of this face covering requirement a person can face a fine up to $250.
Each violation after that will see a fine up to $250 per violation.
The order also states that no gatherings of more than 10 people can be held unless the Mayor or County Judge approves.
