Dove Creek Equine Rescue has announced a new campaign titled “When In Drought” that will run from June 8th through August 17th.
They are hoping to raise at least $20,000 to cover hay and feed costs for the horses due to the extreme drought conditions in the region.
Lack of rain has led to less grazing area for the 30 horses the non-profit oversees, leading to increased costs.
