Couple Attacked on Amarillo Boulevard

Aggravated Assasult Suspect wanted
The Amarillo Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on Amarillo Boulevard and Hughes Street.
According to authorities a couple in a Lincoln passenger car were stopped at a stoplight when a black man armed with a tire iron broke out the side window of the car.
The man was accompanied by a black woman wearing a shirt with a large number six on it.
Both the attacker and woman were in a tan SUV.
The female passenger in the Lincoln was treated for lacerations due to the broken glass.
