City of Amarillo Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

The City of Amarillo has announced their holiday schedule for the week. 

City Hall will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday.

The Amarillo Public Health Department and the drive-thru Covid-19 testing site will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday and there will be no report card on these days either.

Amarillo City Transit will be closed on Thanksgiving and will operate a Saturday schedule on Friday.

All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday.

The Solid Waste Department will be closed on Thanksgiving. For residential service, collections for Thursday routes will be on Wednesday. 

Friday routes will be on a normal schedule. For commercial service, all scheduled routes will be on Friday. 

Brush sites will be closed on Thanksgiving and will have regular hours on Friday and Saturday. 

The landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving and will have regular scheduled hours on Friday and Saturday.
