CISD To Lower Tax Rate For 2021/2022 Fiscal Year

The Canyon Independent School District says they will be able to reduce their Tax Rate for the upcoming fiscal year.
The district says that with property values going up both across the state and in their district they can reduce the rates by 4.7 cents.
The board said they are able to meet their conservative budget by lowering the tax rate, but asks the community to support their needs.
