AMW Offering Free Vaccination Clinics for Canines at New Location

Thanks to a large response  in the community, the City of Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare Department is changing the location of the canine Drive-Thru Vaccination Clinics.

After the first clinic saw over 500 dogs vaccinated, it was decided to move to a bigger space so every dog can be served.

The vaccinations are for rabies and DHPP, which protects against distemper, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and varieties of adenovirus and hepatitis.

For this reason, the new locations for the remaining dates will be in the North parking lot of Dick Bivins Stadium.

The upcoming dates are August 21st, August 28th, and September 4th from 1 pm to 3 pm.
