Candidates Sue for New Election from Donley County

After the March 1st election, a lawsuit was opened by Donley County Precinct 4 Candidates Dan Sawyer and Brad Dalton, in the hopes of getting a new vote.

They sue because of the recent redistricting process, and the after-effects that may have led voters to vote in the wrong precinct. 

As the candidates argue, since people’s votes wouldn’t have counted in the wrong precinct, points to the election having inaccurate results. 

Sawyer emphasizes in his argument that they don’t believe anything illegal or fraudulent occurred, but rather just an oversight.

No ruling has been made for the courts yet, though sawyer and Dalton are both hoping for a quick answer and a new election.
