Burn Ban Extension for Potter County

The Potter County Commissioner’s Office has approved a 90-day burn ban extension due to the continued hot, windy, and dry weather conditions.

Potter County Fire and Rescue has already responded to wildfires in the area and without significant precipitation, the danger will continue to grow.

Where the previous ban would have expired on April 9th, this new extension takes the end of the ban to July 9th.
