Boil Water Notice For City of Canadian

The City of Canadian has issued a boil water notice as of yesterday morning.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required officials to issue the notice after a line break, which could introduce contamination into the system.

Residents are advised to bring all water being used for consumption or cooking to a rolling boil for at least 2 minutes.

A notice rescinding the boil water advisory will be sent as soon as the current notice is no longer in effect.
