Billy Glen Ivy Jr Found Dead In Jail Cell

Officials with the Potter County Detention Center are reporting that Billy Glen Ivy Jr was found dead in his jail cell.

On September 16th at 1:40am, officers found Ivy unresponsive alone in his single occupancy cell.

Lifesaving efforts were performed until AMS personnel pronounce him deceased at 2:32am.

The Texas Rangers were called to conduct the investigation into the death.

Justice of the Peace Robert Taylor was contacted and ordered an autopsy to be performed Thursday morning.

Next of kin has been notified.

Ivy Jr had multiple charges against him including the shooting death of Charlesetta Telford, her unborn child along with the murder of missing Nicole “Nikki” Morore and facing 6 murder-for-hire charges.
