Amarillo VA Reaches COVID Vax Milestone

The Amarillo Veterans Affairs Health Care System recently reached a milestone in its COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
Hospital officials announced they have officially reached 20,000 Covid vaccines given since they began in December of 2020.
Veterans interested in getting vaccinated are able to do so Monday through Friday in Primary Care from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The Amarillo VA currently offers the Moderna vaccine, a series of 2 initial shots with the second coming 28 days after the first.
