Amarillo College Board Gives The OK On Coding Academy

The Amarillo College Board of Regents have given consent to establish a new Coding Academy next spring.

Students will have to demonstrate some proficiency in programming or have completed the Apple Swift app-development curriculum to attend the nine-month Coding Academy.

All three Apple Swift classes will be offered at AC next fall.

AC Officials are wanting to build a skilled workforce to attract higher paying industries to Amarillo.
