Xcel Donates $50,000 for Disaster Relief Assistance

Xcel Energy has announced they have donated $50,000 for disaster relief to the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon and the Amarillo Area Foundation.

The money will go towards assisting those in the region affected by the recent severe weather, from flooding to tornados and more

The United Way hopes the money will allow families affected to bridge the gap in their income so that individuals stay caught up in providing health and financial stability.

Xcel will continue to work with affected customers to connect them with financial resources and ensure their homes and businesses can be safely reconnected to power service once repairs have been made.
