WT Football Stadium Renamed Thanks To Large Gift

As a part of West Texas A&M University’s One West fundraising campaign, Buffalo Stadium on campus is being renamed the “Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium.”
This follows a gift given to the university co-opted by both the Bain family and the Schaeffer family, who have long shown their support to WT.
Dr. Walter Wendler, President of WT, was happy for the campus and for the stadium renaming.
By the upcoming football season, the stadium will be rebranded, and Football coach Hunter Hughes is excited about the further drive it will give the players.
The season-opening home game in the Bain-Shaeffer Stadium will be on September 10th against Adams State University.
