West Hastings Grass Fire

Wednesday’s high winds in the Amarillo area played havoc with Amarillo and Potter County Fire Departments.

A grass fire broke out near West Hastings at 7:00 p.m. and scorched ten acres.

Fire officials say no one was injured and no buildings or homes were damaged or destroyed.

They also say the blaze occurred in the same area as a grass fire on Sunday, February 19th
