TTU Officials Honor Jerry and Margaret Hodges

Officials with Texas Tech University held a press conference Monday afternoon to honor and recognize a local couple.

Jerry Hodges and his wife Margaret made a $10 million contribution to the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine.

Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson on the economic impact this will have in the community.

So far more than $90 million has been raised in non-state funds for the project and Texas Tech is seeking about $17.35 million from Texas Legislatures in the 86^th legislative session.
