Teams Needed For A Walk To End Alzheimer’s

September is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and, locally, a Walk to End Alzheimer’s is to be held Saturday, September 30th.

Teams will start at Hodgetown Stadium in Downtown Amarillo.

Julie Grays is the Director of Development for the West Chapter of the national organization, and she says she hopes everyone in our community starts a team and joins in this year’s walk. “We’re closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer’s,” she said.

In Texas, more than 400 thousand people live with the disease.
