Rangers Bringing Back DeShields

Outfielder Delino DeShields is back with the Rangers. He agreed to a minor league contract with a spring training invitation. DeShields hit .246 and swiped 106 bases in 539 games for the Rangers from 2015-19, but was traded to the Indians last year. Texas also signed right-hander Sam Gaviglio to a minor league contract and invited him to camp. He has pitched in the majors with the Blue Jays, Mariners and Royals the past four seasons.
