Randall County CERT Intervention

A police standoff on Valencia Drive in Amarillo led to one man being put in custody.

Thirty-three-year-old Corey Rae McWilliams was wanted on two warrants and had barricaded himself into the home on West Valencia Drive.

The warrants had to do with assault causing bodily injury to a family member and terroristic threats to a family member.

The Amarillo CERT team and Crisis Intervention teams showed up, and by 10:44 p.m. McWilliams was put under custody.
