Potter County Grand Jury Hands Down Indictment On Man For Publishing Photos

A Potter County grand jury has indicted a man for causing harm to a woman by revealing intimate photos of her.
Casey Ryan Herbert was indicted March 13 on a charge of publishing/threatening to publish intimate visual matter.
Herbert currently is in Potter County jail in lieu of bond,
On or about December. 10, 2018, Herbert “intentionally disclosed visual material depicting (the victim) with her intimate parts exposed or engaged in sexual conduct.”
It further states that the images were taken by the woman herself and that she “had a reasonable expectation that the visual material would remain private.”
The court document also states that the disclosure of this material caused the woman harm and revealed her identity.
