Job Growth Spurt Expected for 2023

Due to Amarillo’s diverse job industries, the area is looking at a big amount of large employers coming to the area which will result in thousands of job opportunities.

Many companies are looking to fill entry-level positions, still, area colleges are saying this is good news because they’re ready to give students a positive push in that direction.

Schools like Amarillo College, Frank Phillips, and Clarendon College have programs that’ll increase the skills needed to increase the wages in the area.

Amarillo EDC sees a study increase for outlying years due to the momentum Amarillo has seen over the past few years. They’re crediting a diverse workforce that allows the area to be more stable. and in the last two years, it’s allowed the area to grow because the talent pool and educational systems are now synced to fill the talent pipelines with multiple industries.

The experts believe the Panhandle can expect to see a steady number of job opportunities for several years down the road.
